MVP in Visual Studio and Development Technologies

Thank you for visiting my Blog! I appreciate your continued support and hope you have been enjoying my topical articles about software development and the cloud. I am pleased to share that on October 1st I was awarded the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional award in Visual Studio and Development Technologies: an honor that highlights my commitment to sharing my experience with the vast technology community.

The Microsoft MVP is an annual award that recognizes technology experts who strive to share their passion and expertise with others. I am proud to be among the recipients of this year’s award. This community of experts represent 90 countries and over 40 languages. They excel in a number of Microsoft technologies and have an unquenchable thirst for new technology. An MVP is selected based on technological skills and dedication, as well as commitment to sharing both these traits with the community. Defined by their technical abilities and willingness to help others, I am privileged to be counted among them.

My goal – indeed, the goal of any Microsoft MVP – is to continue sharing high quality knowledge and insight about the current state, and future possibilities, of technology. My blog may focus on software development, code, and Microsoft Azure, but I take interest in all aspects of technology and look forward to a continued dialogue with the community. I see the MVP award as a responsibility to demonstrate leadership and help build an stronger online community.

As a Microsoft MVP, I am eager to uphold the standard of quality contributions that led to my selection and hope I may even exceed those expectations. I particularly enjoy mentoring other developers, with whom I focus on imparting my knowledge of Azure, ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, and the open web. If you are a developer with any questions regarding these or other topics, please feel free to reach out to me.
